This role involves joining our Service Delivery team and collaborating with the largest and most exciting organizations within the UK and DACH on the design, planning and implementation of IAM solutions.

The services team you will join brings together experts in the fields of Product Design, Software Engineering and Solution Architecture, with extensive senior experience throughout. The depth and breadth of complementary skills gives us the edge.

Location
For this role, we are looking for someone to be based at either our Berlin office or in the UK.
What we expect you to bring to the role:
- 5+ years professional experience as a technology consultant, architect or systems integrator.
- 2+ years experience planning, designing and implementing Okta Workforce solutions for a large organisation
- 3+ years professional experience in the field of Identity and Access Management
- Deep understanding of core Okta WIAM features including SSO, provisioning, user lifecycle operations, federation
- Working knowledge of OIDC and SAML specification, digital signatures, certificates management and session management
- Experience with Active Directory based Integrations
- Good understanding of REST APIs and ability to use Postman
- Strong experience with common web access management domain related skills (e.g. understanding the concepts of cookies, sessions, header/cookie variables, HTTP traffic flow/analysis, etc.)
- Familiarity with protocol level troubleshooting a plus (LDAP, OIDC, SAML, SCIM)
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills, including knowledge of debugging, monitoring, logging and tracer tools
- Experience with roles based access control techniques
- Good knowledge/skills in architecting Access Management/SSO/Federation systems in a large organization
- Familiarity with orchestration, workflow and other “Nocode” or “Lowcode” platforms are an advantage
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to effectively translate and present technology solutions in business or management terms
- Workshop and facilitation skills (or interest in) would be a big advantage
- English (and ideally German) language required

Our recruitment process
- PART A: 60 mins - 1:1 with European Services Director to talk about your experience, goals, ambitions, consultancy and leadership style. We’ll also elaborate on company vision, performance, growth plans and articulate how this role is positioned in this context
- PART B: 90-120 mins you are invited to showcase your preferred IAM solution and demonstrate key features, pros and cons in your own words and perspective. We will also run a mock kick off/discovery workshop together and finish with general technical discussion.
